Unetek was founded by Joel Brown and Freddy Doty in 1999 on the notion that the tech industry was lacking a personalized level of service. After extensively researching the sector and partnering with some of the industry’s top technology manufacturers, Joel made the decision to found Unetek with Freddy as his partner. The company has been built on a bedrock of honesty, integrity and performance, with a distinctive outlook on the service and support that Unetek provides to its clients.
Joel has since retired and Unetek is now operated by Freddy with his new partner, Eileen Tighe. Freddy’s passion and history with information technology paired with Eileen’s extensive management, human resources and organizational skills has allowed Unetek to expand to where it is today. Unetek now has offices in both Houston and Austin and has become a full-service company, providing IT Solutions and Consulting Services to small and mid-sized businesses throughout the greater Houston and Austin areas.
Unetek also believes in partnering with local non-profit organizations to positively impact the community. Time and materials have been provided to Holy Cross Lutheran Church and other community organizations in Texas.
