Nuvos IP, LLC., a business technologies provider, and Unetek, an Information Technology (IT) and Managed Network Services provider, both based in Houston, TX,  announced a merger of the two companies effective July 1st, 2019.

Founded in 2016, Nuvos IP provides sales and service of business phone systems, voice and data cabling, security cameras and access control. 

Unetek, founded in 1999, provides IT services, managed network services including cyber-security, anti-virus, cloud backup, hosted Exchange and spam filtering.

The new relationship will bring over 1000 clients together under one roof, utilizing a centralized, state-of-the-art ticketing, service and dispatch software that allows for secure direct access to customer data servers and voice servers, routers and firewalls and giving customers direct support capabilities.

The prior Nuvos and Unetek business relationship facilitated this merger, with many overlapping clients reaping the benefits.  The obvious synergy between the two companies will result in a one-stop shop for almost every conceivable business technology.  Businesses in Greater Houston, Austin and beyond will be able to benefit from dealing with a single company to manage the core network and all the surrounding technologies that touch it.
